Atlanta Junior Day full of talent

HAMPTON, Ga.- More than 170 potential Division I-A prospects turned out for the third annual Atlanta Junior Day on Saturday at Lovejoy High. There were several prospects that were unknowns prior to the event, but who are now without a doubt on the recruiting radar.

The prospect that caught the eye of nearly everyone at the event was Macon (Ga.) Northeast offensive tackle Everette Curtis. Curtis measured in at 6 feet 6.5 inches and 278 pounds. He has a lean frame and long arms and without a doubt looks the part of a Division I-A tackle prospect.

Curtis is waiting on his first offer, but says he has been getting heavy attention from North Carolina State, LSU, Arkansas, Louisville and Middle Tennessee State.

Curtis said that he expected to make unofficial visits to all of the schools showing him attention in the near future.
