Offense-Defense AA Bowl Chat: Chris Culliver

[rl]Four-star defensive back Chris Culliver stopped by for a chat in the recruiting message board Monday afternoon live from the Offense-Defense All-American Bowl in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The following is a transcript of the chat:

What position intrigues you most on the next level. WR or DB?

Culliver: WR because I think I am more of a threat and that's where I can get my talent exploited more.

I know Spurrier has been recruiting you as a WR, and your also a pretty good safety. Any chance you end up on defense if you go to South Carolina?

Culliver: Yes, only if I don't get in the rotation at WR.

What do you think your best attribute is in your game and what do you most want to improve on? Thanks man and have fun this week.

Culliver: My best attribute is speed and knowing that I am a defensive back helps me out in terms of knowing what the defensive back is going to do. Knowing zones and things like that help me, too.

Chris, I was wondering how you like Quintin Richardson's new haircut? I was also wondering how fast you have been timed in the 40?

Culliver: Quintin represents where he is going. My fastest time was at the Shrine Bowl combine. I ran a 4.27. The reason for that is that I work hard and have a lot of dedication.

Congrats for being in All-American Bowl. What is your number one factor in choosing which college to attend?

Culliver: What position I want to play and how my talents can be showcased.

What stood out to you about each of the top schools you have been considering? Thanks and best of luck to you in the future.

Culliver: Florida: What stood it out is that their star player Reggie Nelson is leaving. I think I would have a good chance to play a lot; South Carolina: I think I would have a good chance of playing as well as returning punts and kicks.
